15% of births in Rwanda are by C-section, and 6.85% develop surgical site infections afterwards. As health care providers, we need to do our part and also educate patients to have a collaborative effort to reduce post cesarian surgical site infections in Rwanda. #TogetherWeCan

Today Ministry of Health | Rwanda declared Marburg virus disease outbreak in Rwanda. Last year, Equatorial Guinea and Tanzania faced the same disease, and I published a paper on it. Rwandans must follow World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations to protect themselves from this dreadful disease #Marburg #Rwanda
