Christian Adams singles, he's 4-for-5 today with a pair of home runs, and Georgia has runners at the corners with nobody out in the top of the ninth.

Devin Obee, pinch-running for Adams, steals second. Georgia has two in scoring position with nobody out in the top of the ninth, leading 9-7.

All three Bulldogs strike out. More bad situational hitting. Tyler McLoughlin, who has not pitched since May 9, will try to close out Georgia's 9-7 lead.

And a two-run home run ties it. McLoughlin got ahead 1-2, and Oklahoma State worked the count full. There's nobody out in the bottom of the ninth.

Zach Harris, who allowed two in the ninth inning against Duke, will try to prevent Georgia from getting walked off in its home ballpark.

This means the end for a bunch of seniors, including Slate Alford, Ryland Zaborowski, Robbie Burnett, Christian Adams, Nolan McCarthy and Henry Hunter. Might also be the end for players like Kolby Branch, Brian Curley and others. Lots of big decisions coming for the Bulldogs.

Few saw that premature ending coming, but it should not neglect UGA's special season. - Most regular season wins since 1990. - 9 players with double digit HR. - 2nd most team HR. - Staff broke the team strikeout record. Not bad for a team that began the year at Athens Academy.

Slate Alford had opportunities to play professionally but decided to come back and get better. He ended his collegiate career with a 3-for-4 performance & two home runs. He also sat in front of the media and answered questions after a tough loss, which not all athletes do.
