Israel occupation has killed children in Gaza while they were asleep, sheltering in schools, fleeing displacement and queuing for food and water. What if that thing happened in the western countries? How would the world, government, leaders react?

Half a million Palestinians in Gaza are facing catastrophic levels of food insecurity, while one million are at emergency levels. More than 70,000 children are suffering from acute malnutrition, as Israel continues to block food and specialized nutritional aid.

The World Food Programme (WFP) has confirmed that Israeli forces opened fire on starved civilians gathered near a WFP humanitarian convoy in northern Gaza. qudsnen.co/wfp-israeli-ta…

It's an indictment on the state of humankind that when people post pleading with the world's powers to stop children from being starved and killed, somehow it can provoke not only controversy but opposition. Our future generations have every right to condemn us for this failure.

To watch via internet cafe connection as a colleague in Gaza turns ever more gaunt, as they try to teach and research between dizzy spells and physical collapse, throws into sharp relief the many complicities of the academy at work. Divestment now.

A sudden dramatic shift in the BBC's coverage. Why? Because everybody knows that the utter calamity engulfing Gaza is going to be impossible to hide. For the Guilty Men of the media: you all had ample warning for 21 months! You did this! Everything that now happens is on you.

Because that’s how famine works, genius. Children starve first — their bodies are more vulnerable to malnutrition, their needs urgent. Every famine, from Yemen to Somalia, follows this pattern. All feeding centre I’ve ever visited are always full of children.

Israel is about to cause mass starvation and uncontrollable deaths across Gaza and the British state is arresting a man in a wheelchair for wearing a t-shirt. These are the end times

Our report (with Shaira Vadasaria) on the University of Edinburgh’s imperial and colonial legacy in Palestine through the figure of AJ Balfour, the adoption of IHRA, and the senior leadership’s support for investments in the Gaza genocide economy is out. theguardian.com/education/2025…

And still they bomb the rubble they bombed. And bombed. And bombed. Again, ask yourself why would Israel bomb rubble? It’s how we that as well as genocide Gaza is the exhibition hall for weapons sales.

I talked with Sky News Data and Forensics team last week for their investigation into Israel's killing of families in Gaza. This is incredibly dark stuff and much needed attention on 'familicide', which is absolutely deliberate news.sky.com/story/gazas-de… youtube.com/watch?v=Xo6PBq…

May every politician in the Europe and America who armed, facilitated, and provided cover for Israel’s genocide be hounded by the law for the rest of their lives. May they never know a moment of peace. May they spend the rest of their lives locked in a solitary cell.

Wow. The BBC World service looked at over 160 cases of children (mostly under 12 years old) who have been shot in Gaza and found that in 95 cases, the child was shot in the head or the chest.

Sure. I was one of the researchers of the UN inter-agency Humanitarian Evaluation of the collective response to the Yemen crisis. We found that the massive surge of food aid — delivered by the UN —significantly reduced (halved) those facing extreme food insecurity.

The BBC does not report on protests fairly. How do I know? Because I used to work there. 🟢 If they agree with you, you get sympathetic coverage. 🔴 If they disagree with you, you get smeared or ignored. This is how the BBC rigs public perception of protests 🧵

It's truly quite mad that we still see “Hamas-run health ministry” printed in the BBC. How? Hamas-run? There’s no functioning government. Gaza’s health system has collapsed. The numbers they’re giving are undercounts. 60,000? The real toll is in the hundreds of thousands.

We warned this was happening. Israel’s genocide in Gaza has been enabled by UK-made arms, intelligence support and the unwavering diplomatic cover of the British government. Keir Starmer, David Lammy, Rishi Sunak and David Cameron all belong in The Hague.

Those who do not depend on sclerotic media for our news from Gaza know the many 100s of Palestinian journalists who have continued to report steadfastly from the killing fields there (accurately & honestly). Many have paid with their lives. Shame on Simpson for dihonoring them.
