He is the epitome of political opportunism. The Lib Dems have been pushing for this for years and he has always spoken against it. Now he has seen how well Reform would do under proportional representation, he suddenly wants electoral reform. What a (now 'honourable') ass.

Strange that Welsh speaking MPs are made to take the oath twice. If Welsh is accepted in Westminster, then there should be no need to do it in English as well.

The sentence did follow sentencing guidelines and was entirely predictable, albeit clearly unpopular with the public. Tom doesn't seem to understand that a suspended sentence *is* a custodial sentence. He also doesn't seem to understand that celebrity status is irrelevant.

How is it that my husband & I can take out a Barclays UK mortgage entirely online, approved in days but to open a joint current account we must go in branch? Branch open 9-4, closed 12.30-1.30 for lunch. Next available Saturday appointment: mid-April! Helping working people how?

How many of these GPs are full time? We see more GPs on 3-5 sessions (half day) per week. This means more GPs but no more appointments. Are the two million extra appointments actual or hypothetical? Were have these GPs come from? Are they escaping the struggling hospital system?
