I am corresponding with 300+ startups during our selection process. It is surprising how many write from their personal gmail addresses. Registering a domain/setting up email for it is super easy. If it's not done, it makes one wonder about founders' commitment to the idea.

Fintech is not easy to execute in, and most founders see that, even if they are from outside of the industry. Healthcare is not easy to execute in, but many founders miss that. When stepping into a new industry, ask yourself if you understand its complexity.

This week I received one absentee ballot from NY and one from NJ. I didn't request them, but have homes in both states. Is this another potential 2020 voter issue - individuals with homes in different states voting more than once? Is there a federal registry that checks that?
