Olentangy Academy biomed teachers were awarded clay manikins for their classrooms. Teams celebrated the arrival of the manikins that they will work with over the next two years with 'adoption parties.' Students will construct muscles, joints, ligaments and organs on the manikins.

Thanks to an OEF grant, Cintiq displays were added to the digital arts lab at Berlin High School. Digital art students are exploring the features that the new Cintiq displays offer, and advanced photography students are experimenting with their editing processes in Photoshop.

Target Teams have become a vital part of ACES and were made possible by an OEF grant. Students in 1st-5th grade participate in a social emotional lesson each month. In October, the lesson was on self-regulation. Students created pinwheels and practiced soothing breathing.

The goal of the Representative Staffing Experience is that the staff of Olentangy Schools would be representative of the community that it serves. The program aims to increase representation of underrepresented groups, with an initial focus on ethnic and cultural diversity.

A grant provided art teachers with resources that are already helping with the development of new and innovative lessons. A painting class learned how colors interact with each other to create new colors and then applied those principals when they created their own paintings.

Resources provided by an OEF grant to middle school art teachers has allowed teachers to expand on how they teaching a lesson on attaching pieces of clay.

Bear News Network at Berlin received a grant this year that enables the student-led broadcasting team to air segments live from remote locations. The grant provided technology that will enable students in the Broadcast and Video Production classes to be on-air outside the studio
