Exciting day yesterday helping one OWLS member get to their vaccination appointment. Top work Craven Road Medical Practice - running things like a military operation. Our minibus driver, a local volunteer, said they found it quite overwhelming / emotional to see it all. Hope.

The team Morrisons Kirkstall have helped us so much this year with our weekly food shop for local older people. And yesterday Sarah the Community Champion surprised us with a random act of kindness, treats to go out to older people. Really thoughtful.

Snow what snow? Shopping delivered to OWLS (Older Wiser Local Seniors) members in North West Leeds today by Vicki and a team of fantastic volunteers whose snow boots were tested to the max today! One bus is still trying to get home, give her and Colin the driver a wave if you see her!
