Members of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation gathered at the Giant Mine site today. They're asking the federal government for an apology, compensation, and a role in the remediation of the site.
Yellowknives Dene First Nation message is loud and clear as they call on Canada to provide apology and compensation for the monster that was and still is Giant Mine. The FN has repeatedly called on feds and say they have received nothing in return. APTN News
