Thank you to James Montgomery Academy Trust for a fun orienteering event this evening. We triumphed in both the Year3/4 boys and Y3/4 girls events and finished runners up in the Y5/6 Boys event. Well done everyone. #Outdoorlearning

It is not just sports week for the pupils. The teachers also successfully did some orienteering and map work during the staff meeting.

Year 5 had an IT taster Day Wath Academy They had a go at Robotics, photoshop, coding and learned about hardwear and software. All of this and still time for their swimming lesson. #Lifeskills

Another successful day of activities at Hollowford Centre. Rock scrambling brought out the inner weasel in some children. Some great #teamwork on display during problem solving activities. We also completed the orienteering and adventure courses. Lindley Educational Trust

Year 6 finished of their residential by a visit to Treak Cliff Cavern Cavern before conquering Mam Tor. There was even time for an ice cream before the coach arrived.

Y6 have taken part in the Young Enterprise Fiver Challenge creating a product or service from only £5. At the end of the summer fayre after deducting the £5 that each group borrowed Y6 managed to make over £200 in profit. Young Enterprise @YoungMoneyEdu #excellence

Year 5 enjoyed a PE taster day Wath Academy. They tried out a range of new activities and continually tried to improve their own performance.

Well done to our Football Team. They qualified for the Totty Cup quarter Finals by finishing Runners-Up in the Wath Qualifying tournament and only conceding 1 goal in 5 matches. Thanks to Wath Academy for hosting.

Well done to our footballers in the Totty Cup last night. They showed great determination in a 4-2 defeat to Lacewood. They battled superbly to come from 3 down and almost made it back to 3-3 against a team who hadn't conceded a goal in qualifying. #Resilience
