I thought cancer took away the person I was. I grieved for her, wished to go back. It hit me only recently that she didn’t leave. She’s been here all along. The true me. The little kid inside of me who was creative & fearless. I hate cancer but I’m grateful it brought her back ❤️

My friend took these photos today on the 8 year anniversary of his brother’s passing. Somehow just looking at these photos… I can tell he was there with him. ❤️‍🩹

If you're unsure about how to refer to someone with cancer, it's always best to ask them directly. They can tell you what language they prefer. Some dislike the terms “warrior” or “fighter” while others embrace it. It’s an easy thing to ask about and can really make a difference.

Always tell people how much they mean to you. That little reminder that they are loved could really make all the difference. ❤️
