Maybe my favourite film of the year, but one things for sure is that it’s certainly the most important film of the year. The level of detail, care and thought that must have gone into every frame… every single written page! Astounding cinema. Jane Schoenbrun 👏🏼 #ISawTheTvGlow

Do people realise HOW good that #HouseoftheDragon episode was!?! Over an hour of damn near PERFECT storytelling, acting, dialogue, shot framing, environment lighting, sequencing of events, score, character exploration, 1 v 1 combat. A serious masterclass in television. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

#Longlegs is the real fucking deal. Osgood Perkins has cemented himself as a serious player in the genre after this. PHENOMENAL. Seriously top tier work. I don’t feel good at all. What a picture.

I have never been more infuriated than I am right now seeing the reactions to the #HouseOfTheDragon S2 finale!! Just because a huge battle or death didn’t occur, it’s automatically dumbed down to lacklustre and a pointless build up!? WHAT?! It was INCREDIBLE storytelling!! Smh.

This is one of the worst tweets I’ve ever read on the app. This level of ignorance or simple lack of comprehending areas of artistic quality in the medium are the reason showrunners will dumb down future seasons and ruin any great potential to cater for the more casual audience.

I can’t help myself; Breaking Bad Game of Thrones (best season of all time??) Succession Better Call Saul Mr Robot Black Sails The Americans House of Cards Ozark The Wire Sons of Anarchy Dexter

The franchise gets a lot of hate, but if you were there back on opening nights then you know how much of an EVENT it was! packed theatre’s of people respectfully gathered to be terrified, and my god did they!! To this day the most tension I’ve ever felt in a cinema. Core memories

I enjoy this show a fair bit…. But can we please stop normalising revealing the fate of a character before we’ve even seen the fucking season?! Especially in a high stakes action show where the character is in harms way frequently!

Biggest Oscar snub? Clarence Maclin in supporting actor for SING SING. Going toe-to-toe with Colman Domingo is no small feat, but his are the scenes you remember most. At once a powerhouse performance and a lovely slow bloom. I can't wait to see where his career goes from here.

Jessica Lee Gagné’s directorial and DP choices in last night’s episode of SEVERANCE will be remembered as a shifting moment in prestige TV. Her visual command of space, emotion, and time was stunning. It’s so fucking exhilarating to witness truly groundbreaking work.
