The Government of Nigeria shouldn't build its expectation around a business set up solely for profit making. Dangote refinery operates in a free trade zone area, if fuel subsidy regime persist, he will sell to foreign countries at a higher price. Focus should be on FG owned refineries.

The good thing is, dangote refinery will build our foreign reserve, also save us alot of foreign exchange. Nigerians should not expect cheap fuel from the refinery. Infact if the current fuel subsidy regime continue, dangote will not supply to the nigerian market.

The removal of the fuel subsidy has removed the cap on fuel prices. Presently, Bonny Light trades at $ 90 per barrel. No oil producer will sell at a discount to Dangote. FG can sell to the refinery in naira at a discounted exchange rate to cushion the impact of rising oil prices
