I understand why forgiving is encouraged in Islam.
Personally, my heart feels lighter, thereβs no resentment or bitterness towards the situation or person.
I can move on whilst keeping my morals intact. No urge to seek revenge nor dwell in sadness or become a bitter person.
Idk who needs to hear this, but there will always be someone better than you. There will always be individuals more successful and accomplished than you. It's time to let go of the pressure to constantly excel and outperform. Goals are a societal construct to keep us busy.
When you realize you have been nothing but a trauma response all your life. You personality is just a mix up of some solutions your subconscious thought of to survive your childhood. Only if you had a normal one, you could have been more than just a reaction.
Adulting is just you dealing with anxiety, heartbreaks, family issues, financial crisis & career stress all by yourself & then pretending like nothing is wrong with you.
May you never again become attached to someone who isn't meant for you. May you find a love that revives your spirit, a love from which you never need to recover.
On this special first Jummah of Ramadan, may Allah ease any worries, stress or pain you may be feeling, whether its in your mind or body, whether its something you're dealing with publicly or silently. May Allah heal you and bring peace to your heart. Ameen.
