EYB, funded by the Asia Pacific Evaluation Association, EvalYouth Asia, and Phildev - Philippine Evaluators for Development, will be conducting a day-long training on April 25, 2023, in Thimphu. The training will be facilitated by Dr. Phuntsho Choden and Mr. Dhan Kumar Bhujel.

EvalYouth Bhutan EvalYouth Bhutan conducted a one-day training session on evaluation and data visualization on April 25, 2023. The program was facilitated by Dr. Phuntsho Choden, Chairperson of EAB, and Mr. Dhan Kumar Bhujel, Executive Director of EAB.

From September 13th to 15th, 2023, EAB led a dynamic three-day training session for Gewog Administrative Officers in Wangdue and Trongsa. Focusing on fostering an evaluation culture at the grassroots level, our goal is to boost local-level planning and implementation efficiency.

Second round of a 3-day training on Evaluation for Gewog Administrative Officers from Sarpang & Tsirang took place in Gelephu from Sep 19-21, 2023. Organized by EAB Key goals: Capacity building in #evaluation and empowering local officials to drive national objectives.

On November 23, 2024, the EAB held its Strategic Planning Meeting. Key discussions included a Three-Year Work Plan, the Annual General Meeting, Endowment Fund generation, & reviewing Service Rules. Attendees included the Board Members, Executive Director, & Program Officer.

EAB held a 3-day Indigenous Evaluation Knowledge Transfer activity in Samtse, funded by EvalIndigenous, EvalPartners, & the Asia Pacific Evaluation Association. It documented the Doya community’s knowledge, preserving oral histories & highlighting indigenous wisdom in evaluation.
