“Ah. . . that shit is the worst. But you can plow through it, I know it,” he said with a hum as he walked over, placing a reassuring kiss on the top of her head. “You need anything else from me?”

“Whatever you want, baby. I’m here for you. Just say the word,” he said as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders, letting her lean in for a soft embrace.

He stood now, lost sunglasses in hand as made his way toward the door and opened it. He furrowed his brows, handing over the glasses. “Here you go,” he said, his green eyes a lighter shade from the bright sun as he looked at her.

“Don’t even have to ask,” he mumbled as he lowered his head towards her, letting his lips find her own as he gave her a sweet and delicate kiss. His arm wrapped around her in an assuring and delicate way.
