⠀⠀He quirked an eyebrow when Kayley claimed to not be shadow boxing, then laughed at her claim to be 𝘎𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘵-boxing. “I’ve noticed,” he said as she grabbed her wrists gently. “Glad to feel that you’re using what you learn on me.”

⠀⠀“I’m aware just how observant you are,” he said with a chuckle. As a photojournalist, it was obvious that Kayley was very observant. “And I’m stopping you from punching me. It 𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘭𝘦𝘴.”

⠀⠀It probably wasn’t good to let his wife know that it tickled. That’s exactly the kind of knowledge she would abuse. “Kayley, love, you’re awful at lying,” he told her matter of factly. “I’m not letting you go now.”

⠀⠀“𝘉𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦, you’re Kayley and you’ve been lying about wanting to tickle me since college,” he countered her retort. Honestly, she should know better than to argue with a lawyer. “So no, I’m not letting you go until you actually don’t want to tickle me anymore.”

⠀⠀“And that would be?” Garrett asked, still holding onto her wrists just in case this was another trick just so she can tickle him. But he did loosen his hold slightly, and held onto him in a more loving way now, instead of the holding to stop her from tickling him way.

⠀⠀It was a tempting offer, but he knows he can just wait her out. He’s always had more patience than she does. “I think I can wait until you decide to play nice,” he muttered.

⠀⠀Well, she gave in quickly. Not that he truly minded, given that she had kissed him. It was much preferable to kiss his wife than to be tickled by her. He did let go of her wrists, trusting that she won’t abuse the freedom and tickle him.He’d hate to have to stop kissing her.
