Some striking images of the Pontifical Mass in 1949 in honor of the 400th anniversary of the arrival of St. Francis Xavier and Christianity in Japan, in the ruins of St. Mary’s Cathedral, in Nagasaki, the Rome of the East, destroyed by an atomic bomb on this day 80 years ago.

There was a mini news cycle in 2019 when the Tories came up with an unthinkably high net migration estimate of 840,000 under a future Labour government, to impugn Corbyn — they ended up beating it.

English explorer John Smith, famous for his involvement in establishing the Jamestown colony in America in 1607. His coat of arms featured the heads of three Ottoman soldiers whom he beheaded in duels while serving as a mercenary in Transylvania during the Long Turkish War.

My baseline for an "acceptable" amount of crime is my 75 year old mother feeling safe walking around alone at 11PM. If not then crime is too high. It's unacceptable for law abiding taxpayers to be unable to walk the streets of their city and it's insane that we act like it is.

Just a reminder that an individual's national insurance payments do not fund their State pension. The average person's national insurance payments cover about half the cost of their state pension:

When We Win, we’re driving out all the hippies and pagans from Glastonbury like the money changers from the temple, and restoring it as a great holy site of our island. (Visited Glastonbury today and was disgusted by the filthy pagan bullshit)

These are the kind of events that lead to people becoming trans 2 years later and making a testimonial on why they abandoned Christianity. Total empty, sentimentalist slop that does nothing to cultivate a life with God.
