Today is #Worldcancerday. We know it can affect anyone at any age so get checked. Our Labrador found my wife’s cancer at stage 3-others may not be so lucky. The Royal Family have been beacons of light for all sufferers. The Prince and Princess of Wales The Royal Family Stand Up To Cancer

Out with the Hertfordshire Wing Air Cadets team at C & E Region RAFAC athletics today. It’s currently overcast with a nice breeze, but all heat monitoring and mitigation processes are in place.
6th place overall, but a very commendable second place for the junior boys. It’s always tough going up against wings with up to three times as many cadets, but the team from Hertfordshire Wing Air Cadets showed great spirit and came away with a decent haul of medals.
Well done to Tring Air Cadets on their victory today, and also to 2F (Watford) Sqn ATC on second place, and 936 (Hertford & Ware) Sqn on third. Pictures and details to follow soon…
Last weekend Hertfordshire Wing Air Cadets held Exercise Spartan Shield, our annual leadership competition. 21 teams (including two from our friends in Beds & Cambs Wing ) competed in a wide variety of command tasks. Well done to the winners 2457 (Tring) Sqn.
Congratulations to FS Lucy Waller of 1372 (Elstree & Borehamwood) Sqn , who was invested this evening as a The Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire’s cadet.
