We enjoyed welcoming back families to Forest Tots this afternoon. They enjoyed listening to the story ‘Stick Man’ and then made their very own Stick Man and then finished the afternoon with a snack and hot chocolate🌳#foresttots #forestschool

Our Year 2’s have been busy in Science and they have used their prior knowledge from last term’s learning about Materials to create a waterproof shelter for a dolly. They worked in teams and had to think about the properties of each material and which were the most suitable 👩‍🔬

Our Year 2’s have also been learning about properties of 3D shapes. We created nets using 2D shape tiles and were thinking carefully about the number of faces, edges and vertices in each 3D shape we made. ⬜️🔶🟣🔺

Teddy Bear’s have been busy learning all about the Hungry Caterpillar, they have been making there own caterpillars and they even have real caterpillars in nursery!🐛🦋#teddybearsnursery #oldcleevecofefirstschool

Our Year 4’s began their new programming unit in Computing. 💻. They used a software called Scratch and they created a sequence of codes to get the avatar to move. They look fantastic!🌟

Year 1’s had a wonderful time at Exmoor Zoo today!🦩 They navigated around the zoo using maps, just like they have been practising in Geography! As well as consolidating there learning of the different animal groups!🐍🦉Exmoor Zoo

Old Cleeve have been privileged enough to look after one of the queens crowns!👑 It was delivered on Monday and the children have been taking excellent care of it!👸

Station Class and Teddy Bears enjoyed there visit from the Avon and Somerset Police. They learnt how the police keep us safe within our community and explored lots of the equipment they use!👮🚓👮‍♂️

Our year 3 and 4 children enjoyed the Pentecost experience with Jess and Lynne from the Exmoor Youth Project today!
