I was so fresh on the job here. It really was one of the most nuts on air moments. We nearly crashed this boat & I'm in shock speaking utter nonsense. Poor cameraman Henry McMullan nearly went overboard, but we rolled on. Live tv will always be the best. This day 5 years ago 💛

Just home after a week away and these daffies are all in full bloom! I'll try keep my flower selfies to a minimum, but also, I may not. We all get excited about something. 🌼🌼🌼🌸

Lavender Tim could have easily been Tomato Tim. A sliding doors moment! Nice story Wānaka's lavender farm has. 💜 Farmers Weekly NZ farmersweekly.co.nz/farm-managemen…

Subtropical getaway? Probably not. Sub-zero freeze, most definitely. But an ocean dip & view is good anytime, and the south coast of Dunedin is one of the most beautiful spots in NZ. You better believe it. 🤍

I received $31.88 in royalties for my book this tax period. I was thinking I'd have to dig in hard on the career front, double up a few jobs, maybe write a book again. But nope, being an author is paying its dividends and I will rest on my laurels.

I am not worthy, but Te Anau do seem to love me a little and have invited me back to host their biennial ukulele festival. A whacky wknd, I must say, but one of the most joyous shoots I've ever done. It's not too late to get down for the show, October 11-13. 💚💛

Such skill in this writing. Perhaps the best example of why longer form features by specialists writers cannot be beaten. I hope we never lose them, and the readers. 🖊 nzherald.co.nz/nz/steve-braun…

Not to speak out of turn, but being a woman by today's standards, can be difficult. Have children & the shape of your career changes. Don't have children & it can play on the mind down the track. Thanks Carla Muller for sharing a personal experience. farmersweekly.co.nz/people/the-lon…
