Dear Adriana LaGrange
If you want to save healthcare funds, early detection is a terrific investment!
Late stage treatment may extend lives, but it sure costs a lot of money! Early detection is cheaper and more likely to cure.
Really excellent article and interview, Jenny Borgfjord
Very informative. I like your “aware not scare” message and brava on advocating to the Manitoba govt. 👏👏👏Manitoba and Quebec are the last holdouts in keeping screening starting at 50.

Grateful that you have taken a science- based leadership role. Health Canada and PHAC should consider adopting your guidelines instead of those from CTFPHC | GECSSP that exclude current evidence
Canadian Cancer Society has issued new recommendations, excellent news! Canadian Society of Breast Imaging The Canadian Association of Radiologists OAR
Based on overwhelming evidence in support of this, it aligns with provincial changes in policies to include screening for women in their 40s. cancer.ca/en/get-involve…
I'm proud to say that Ontario was ahead of the curve in reducing the age of breast cancer screening from 50 to 40 years of age!
