The risk for severe thunderstorms this afternoon has increased for the Lower Hudson Valley & NYC. ▶️ Storms may affect these areas as early as 1pm & between 4-10pm. ▶️ Primary threat is damaging winds over 58 mph. Localized flooding, hail & isolated tornadoes are also possible.

TRAFFIC ALERT - I-87: The southbound entrance and exit ramps at I-87 Interchange 17 (Newburgh - I-84 - Routes 17K & 300) will be closed starting at 10 PM TONIGHT (6/20) to 4 AM TOMORROW for paving, weather permitting. The ramps from I-84 to I-87 southbound also will be closed.
