Assistant Chief Stephenson and Assistant Chief McCarthy pose as the parade made its way from Manhattan South into Manhattan North. This handshake symbolizes the ā€œpassing of the batonā€ and the seamless transition between our boroughs to keep our parade route festivities safe.
