On Friday, SR CF Darlene Montoya hit a 3-run homer, her 2nd of 2025, as part of a 9-run 3rd inning for MSU in its 9-0, 5-inning win over Southern Indiana. Montoya leads MSU in HRs & multi-RBI games (4), is 2nd in total RBI (13) & 3rd in slugging percentage (.422). #SoarHigher

TWO IN A ROW FOR Morehead State Softball (3-25/2-6) as it defeated Southern Indiana (5-17/2-5) 5-1. Another standout effort for Rylie Burney (2-12) 7 IP, 1 ER, 6 H, 0 K, 1 BB. 5 hits all from different Eagles. Nyla Doiron 3-RBI, 3rd inning double made big difference. Game 2 at 2:20 p.m.
