If we are having a conversation. Look at my face. My shoulder. My EAR for heaven’s sake but DO NOT BLATANTLY STARE AT MY MOBILITY AID. I know I don’t use one every day. You don’t have to make it awkward 😭

People of the #NEISvoid - I seem to have developed a fatigue-induced tremor in my dominant hand. I do a LOT of fine motor work in my job (PhD student doing bench research) and need my hands for long periods of time… Have any of you encountered this issue and found a solution?

america is wrong about everything except fahrenheit. farenheit is the correct way to measure temperature. fahrenheit is like "man, it's so hot out. it's gotta be like.......100 hots."

“are you okay?” no i can’t stop thinking about how girls were taught that blue balls is the most painful thing a man can go through and it was our responsibility to make sure he didn’t endure that

No one is invincible. Anyone can become chronically ill/disabled at any time. Doesn’t matter if you’re religious, work out, have good genetics, etc. Sometimes unfortunate things just happen. So be kind because you never know if it could be you & you’d want kindness & respect too.

I know for a fact that some of the ppl that judge me the harshest for being chronically ill & how I “handle it” would absolutely lose their shit if they ever became sick like me. It takes a really strong, kind soul to not be utterly destroyed/turned cold by this kind of suffering

Chronically ill/disabled people (aka people with comorbidities) are NOT disposable. Chronically ill/disabled people are parents, children, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, friends, etc. I can’t believe we live in a time that we have to remind people that. Lives are valuable.
