4/25 to 5/10, 2024 was a busy stretch for National Weather Service. 3,859 tornado, severe, and flood watches and warnings. 267 confirmed tornadoes. Followed by a G5 geomagnetic storm, warnings by NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center prevented major impacts. All while getting ready for hurricane season and onsite for wildfires.
