Yes- you can have a package for Lagway. But I agree with Will Miles that big issue with giving Lagway “specific possessions” is that his skillset & Mertz’s overlap significantly. So rotating QBs doesn’t really make Florida more multiple. It just risks breaking rhythm.

For Florida, it’s just a math problem now, imo. Napier buyout is just above 26 million dollars at this point, half of which is due up front, plus staff buyouts. Question becomes when does keeping Napier become more costly than paying the buyout.

Been going to Florida games since I was a little kid (1988 my first game). I’ve been covering the sport as a writer for a while now, too. This is as bad as I’ve ever seen Florida look. Predictable offensively. Toothless defensively. No identity. Just miserable.
