My bill, AB 142 just passed the Assembly Floor. I was proud to work with the Nevada Association of Public Safety officers on AB 142, which expands workers' comp protections to include civilian law enforcement support staff as first responders for stress-related claims! #Nvleg

Today, I was proud to introduce #AB555 which would cap the price of insulin at $35 per month for Nevadans on private insurance, lowering healthcare costs and ensuring people are not forced to choose between life saving medicine and basic necessities. #InsulinPriceCap #NVLeg

Yet again, Assembly Democrats are leading the fight to increase educator pay while Republicans grandstand and play political games with their irresponsible vote.

Republicans are playing politics with our children's future. They just voted against $11.4 billion in education funding for teacher pay, charter schools, special education, and more. Nicole Cannizzaro and @SteveYeagerNV statement ⬇️

This morning, Republicans voted to cut teacher pay and against $11.4 billion in education funding. Partisan politics > Nevada students = GOP math.

#AB306 passed the Senate today and is on its way to the Governor! It extends drop box access, giving voters more opportunities to vote prior to Election Day, ensures the security of drop boxes, and will result in faster counting and quicker results. #NVLeg

Steve Yeager and the Assembly Democrats have introduced AB 555 to cap insulin costs at $35. Insulin is not an optional drug— millions of Nevadans lives depend on it. #NVLeg

#AB235 is a necessary measure to protect Nevadan healthcare professionals. We urge Joe Lombardo to sign it when it hits his desk, so that we can protect Nevadan’s access to reproductive healthcare. #nvleg

Looks like Nevada Assembly Republican Caucus also want to operate in the shadows. Republicans voted unanimously against a bill to expand transparency and require they and Joe Lombardo publicly disclose conflicts of interest.

🚨 “Asked to vote no by the Governor.” Homes in Nevada are being kept out of the hands of REAL families by corporate investors. Let’s be clear: Governor Joe Lombardo is standing between Nevadans and homeownership. #NVLeg

An out of state corporate hedge fund is the largest homeowner in Clark County. Corporations like this are buying up homes and pricing Nevada families out just to turn a profit. But instead of cracking down on these out-of-state corporations, Republicans killed legislation to do
