Today personnel from JHGS were honoured to run the last ever shift in the old Emergency Department. Supporting Portsmouth University Hospital Trust with a smooth transition into the new Emergency Department.

Today marks 4 years of working for the NHS. The best adventure I could ask for. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey. Here’s to the next 4.

Nearly 1 year later, she is thriving as a Core Surgical Trainee in Upper GI with lots of exciting plans on the horizon. I am so proud of you Alison and I am lucky to call you my friend.

Today we said farewell to Sam Robert’s, Sister on the Paediatric Medical Unit at Southampton Children's Hospital. She has worked at University Hospital Southampton 💙 for 18 years and is the most diligent, credible and friendly face within Child Health. Wishing you all the best Sam!

Wes Streeting has failed to commit to concrete proposals on pay or jobs. We are left with no choice but to strike. We will strike between 07:00 Friday 14th November and 06:59 Wednesday 19th November. This will be a full walkout.
