On the 7th of March, HRH Princess Anne officially opened the new Emergency Department at Queen Alexandra Hospital. 8 ED team members from JHGS were honoured to meet HRH and share their nursing experiences. It was a delightful day and demonstrated our strong bond with the NHS.

 The more work I do on effective team working, the more I emphasise the importance of a good team briefing It can set the tone for the day, empower staff, improve safety & help build situation awareness Debriefing too is a great chance to improve practice & thank the team

Recently a group of preceptee nurses from JHG had the pleasure to visit the Royal Hospital Chelsea. They received an informative and jovial tour from in-pensioner Dave, learning about the history of the grounds and the lives of the pensioners. It was an honour to visit!

JHG(S) celebrated a cultural awareness day, highlighting the traditions and selection process of Nepalese personnel in the British Armed Forces. With support from the Gurkha Welfare Trust, the event fostered understanding and team cohesion through the challenging 4km Doko run.
