It was my great honor to give a talk in NAMS (North Amer. Memb Soc) Alan S. Michaels's award session for 2023. The award was presented to membrane legend Prof. Dibakar Bhattacharya, known as DB in the membrane world—one of the great teachers I have seen in my career. Congrats DB!

I was pleased to give a talk in Prof. Andrew Livingston's honorary session at ICOM 2023, Chiba. Andrew is one of the pioneers in the field of Organic solvent nanofiltration with classical papers from his group. The session was chaired by our neighbor The Szekely Group @AMPM_KAUST

It's always tough to say goodbye to someone who has made a positive impact. Prof. Alexey Volkov was with us for a year, and during that time, we all learned so much from him. We're sure he gained a lot from us as well. We wish him all the best in all his future endeavors.

Amazing time at Ginger Leaf with Jeddah Hilton. The Indian cuisine was top-notch and the staff was excellent. The interior was also impressive and added to the overall experience. A refreshing break from our usual work conversations.
