I can't imagine a luckier person than Kamala Harris to be handed the nomination without a single primary challenge and then get to watch your opponent melt down in real time.

Kamala Harris is running a marketing campaign for president that isn't even attempting to provide any real substance. This is another example of how she's trying to win over voters with gimmicks and 'vibes' that won't amount to much but creates a villain to run against.

Harris takes a 5 point lead over Trump in the latest USA Today/Suffolk poll (4.3 before rounding). In 2020 Biden was up 7 over Trump following the DNC and ultimately won by 4.5%, fwiw. Will be interesting to see if the post-DNC bounce lasts given how unprecedented this all is.

To be fair Trump is only a few weeks of bad polling away from holding his own bus tour promising abortion for all... and would probably start it in Florida as well.

Kamala Harris is trying to run a marketing campaign that is all about 'vibes' while keeping her protected from difficult interviews or press conferences. It might work, but once that honeymoon period wears off voters might demand actual substance and she has yet to give it.

And then you have Donald Trump showing once again he is not fit to be president by already stirring up his cult members that if he loses it will be because of election fraud. This is beyond unhinged given they never once could provide any evidence of widespread fraud in 2020.

No it's just another stupid thing that the Republican party is boosting that I keep seeing today on my timeline. You don't have to be triggered to see yet another reason why someone (or a group) is terrible. It's a crazy thought, I know. Hope that helps. :)
