Fantastic work by Suresh et al. from the Littleton lab Troy Littleton ! The painstaking, rigorous PatchSeq RNA profiling of our favorite neurons will be foundational for some of our future studies. And I'm sure other labs will also greatly benefit. Thank you!

If you're going to be at the Fly Meeting Next week, make sure to check out Ellie Heckscher and Urs and their non-traditional fly models workshop! And looking forward to seeing old and new friends soon 😀

Thanks to Phoenix Biology The University of Chicago for organizing Lab Night! Had a blast recruiting for Developmental Neurobio Undergrad Fellowship Opportunity (DNUFO). If you're a UChicago undergrad interested in summer research opportunities, hit me up! Shout out to Meike (not on Twitter!) 😀

I even forgot about this! Good call Tim Mosca (he/him) ! It's going to be an amazing time... don't miss out! Apply and spread the word. Gracias 😀

A little late but El Profesor Mosca Tim Mosca (he/him) dropping that adult fly brain anatomy knowledge at #cshlfly23. Reminder to self: need to learn more about the adult brain!

El Drosophilist Tim Mosca (he/him) becomes El Microscopist for our evening lecture at #CSHLFLY23. Oh, and he bakes as well! Gracias Tim! :)

Never too early to start building your mentoring network... preach! Our #CSHLFLY23 evening lecturer Dr Sarah D Ackerman discussing her career path and the plethora of glial functions in the nervous system!

Oh the beautiful fly adult brain! Nara Muraro showing us her textbook dissection technique @cshlfly23. She makes it look sooooo easy!

A little late but "La historia del NMJ de Drosophila" by THE Dr. Mosca Tim Mosca (he/him) #cshldros24. El NMJ es muuucho fuerte :)

Thanks Scientifica ! We wouldn't be able to teach ephys to the students CSHLflyneurocourse without your microscopes!
