Day 3 of NIB2025 began with an overview of Business Models from Kenneth Kahn, a long time speaker for the Nuclear Innovation Bootcamp.

A fantastic Q&A on nuclear energy start ups from Alex Borovskis and Warren McKenzie with Patrick A. Burr serving as moderator at #NIB2025.

Yesterday’s session with Patrick White was an incredible crash course on all things licensing and regulating!

Yesterday the #NIB2025 cohort enjoyed a visit to the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation! During this visit they had the opportunity learn about the OPAL reactor and see particle accelerators up close. Thank you to ANSTO for hosting us!

Congratulations GammAway for winning the #NIB2025 pitch competition. They presented the incredibly innovative idea of using gamma radiation to eliminate spoilage of Australian produce to allow exportation to international markets via boat routes at larger volumes for lower costs.

Unfortunately all good things, including the Nuclear Innovation Bootcamp must come to an end. As we close #NIB2025 we’d like to thank all of our speakers, organizers, mentors, judges and especially our participants, we couldn’t do it without you. Stay tuned for updates on NIB2026
