Josh's picture of the #southpole #Sunset also nicely captured the #GreenFlash, caused by the achromatic refraction of the atmosphere! You can see this effect during a "normal" sunset, but the prolonged Sunset at Pole makes it a little easier to capture #StPatricksDay

I’m very excited to see analyses coming from DESI. A key highlight of this release is the new upper limit on the sum of neutrino masses, 70 meV at 95% which excludes the inverted hierarchy! The minimum is 60 meV which they should have evidence for soon.

RIP BJ: To those less familiar with Bjorken’s enormous impact, I highly recommend Close’s book “the Infinity Puzzle”. He makes a compelling case that BJ made a larger contribution to discovering the Standard Model than several Nobel Laureates amazon.com/Infinity-Puzzl…
