10/10/24 3:05 PM 3 PM temps across the region are once again well above normal. Current temps are in the mid 80s to even a record tying 91 in Lincoln! We will start to cool off some tomorrow.

10/10/24 Still tracking cooler air that will arrive Saturday night into Sunday. Temps have been trending up for early next week but still looks like our first frost of the season in southern areas is on the way. Temperatures rebound quickly and rain chances are still lacking.

Temps this Friday morning are cool but comfortable anywhere from the mid 40s to the low 60s. A cold front passing through today will allow for quite a range of high temps this afternoon. Another push of cooler air will arrive on Sunday. nebraska.tv/weather

Smoke from the wildfires in the northern Rockies may linger across the region today. Fire weather will once again be a concern as we head into the weekend. A Fire Weather Watch is set to take effect tomorrow with elevated fire conditions in place. nebraska.tv/weather

It is quite chilly as we begin the new work week as morning temps are in the 20s and 30s! With that said, numerous watches, warnings, and advisories are in place until later this morning. Temps will warm up, though, with highs in the 60s and 70s today. nebraska.tv/weather

Temps this Tuesday morning are starting off chilly again in the 30s and low 40s, and with a brisk and breezy northeasterly wind, it feels even colder. It will remain on the cool side today with forecast temps in the 50s this afternoon. nebraska.tv/weather

With low temperatures tonight and tomorrow morning forecast to dip into the 20s and low 30s, Freeze Warnings will be in place mainly for areas along and south of I-80. A Freeze Watch will also take effect in a couple of our SW counties tonight too. nebraska.tv/weather

10/15/24 4:07 PM A little brisk out there today with 4 PM temps in the 50s and east winds gusting over 20 mph. Cold temps tonight as many will see their first hard freeze of the fall season. Freeze warnings will be in effect.

10/15/24 A little chilly out there today with highs into the mid and upper 50s for most. We will see a gradual climb in temps the next couple of days but winds will remain strong.
