Congratulations to Nickelene Mclean, the Morgan State University Ph.D. student who won the NTA Student Achievement Award at #NTA93 for her work with marine animals. She has a patent underway for a system for aquaculture farmers that uses optical and acoustic data to measure tilapia!

This Monday we're honoring Dr. Warren Washington, an atmospheric scientist at NSF National Center for Atmospheric Research. He developed one of the first atmospheric computer models of the Earth's climate and was awarded the National Medal of Science by President Obama in 2009. #MCM #BlackinGeoscience
