Grasses are very important for ecosystem, we should conserve & preserve them. More than 70% of agriculture crops are grasses. Wild rice, maize, ragi etc. were also found in Nallamala forest. Staff from Atmakur, Markapur & Giddalur divisions also participated in training program.

We conducted two days workshop & survey program on 'Grass identification and Grassland Management' in #GundlaBrahmeswaramSanctuary first time. Grass expert Manoj Chandran IFS sir gave training to forest staff & more than 50 species of grasses were identified.
