Yesterday, I had the exciting opportunity to present to 300 new first-year pharmacy students about my journey as a BPharm (Hons) alumni from Monash Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences. I look forward to seeing where the next generation of bright #pharmacists go!

Thrilled to discuss my PhD research with Dr Shane Huntington OAM on #20phds20mins Einstein A Go Go 3rrrfm this Sunday. Tune in from 11am to hear about the importance of the little brain of your gut (enteric nervous system) in paediatric gastrointestinal disease and more! Integrated Neurogenic Mechanisms Laboratory

This was so fun! Thank you Dr Shane Huntington OAM for this experience ๐

Had a blast at 3rrrfm with Dr Shane Huntington OAM on Einstein A Go Go #20phds20mins today! It was so interesting to hear the exciting range of research topics๐ฌ๐งฌ๐ฉ๐ฝโ๐ฌ If you missed the airing, you can listen to the podcast version here: rrr.org.au/explore/podcasโฆ

For those that may be interested, come listen to Ashleigh Gould and Annabel Manoleras from MIPS DDB about a small part of their PhD work involving multiplex imaging and analysis using Leica Microsystems systems along with Fiji, ilastik Team and Anna Kreshuk's Lab and #cellpose bigmarker.com/leica-microsysโฆ

Next up for the inaugural Leica Microsystems webinar series we have Ashleigh Gould representing the Integrated Neurogenic Mechanisms Laboratory here Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences talking about hyperspecteal imaging and its use for investigating Hirschsprung disease

Very excited to be one of the awardees of the HCS Cornerstone Grant. Thank you The Histochemical Society and Integrated Neurogenic Mechanisms Laboratory for the encouragement ๐ and congratulations to the other recipients!

Congrats to Matt Rowe Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences who has been elected as our new Australian Microscopy and Microanalysis Society Student Rep! He is a 2nd Yr PhD student who uses a range of microscopes to study human gastrointestinal disease. He is keen to network with Australian Microscopy and Microanalysis Students & become more involved in our Society๐ฌ๐

Graduation โ Thanks Dan Poole, A/Prof Nik Veldhuis,Dr. Ghizal Siddiqui and everyone in Integrated Neurogenic Mechanisms Laboratory, CreekLab for your support! Congratulations to all MIPS DDB PhD graduates today! Jason Cao Vanessa Kee Liudi Zhang

So excited to be part of the team at Monash Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences and thanks Betty Exintaris Nilushi (Nel) Karunaratne and Angelina for a wonderful induction!

Gut analysis toolbox (GAT) is out! Its based in Fiji & aims to automate image analysis tasks in gut neuroscience.Using AI models you can segment neurons. We use GAT to characterize neuronal distribution & reveal regional differences via spatial analysis Integrated Neurogenic Mechanisms Laboratory

Great to see Matthew Rowe giving his first Leica Microsystems SP8 induction in his new part time role working in imaging Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences

Really enjoyed Dr Siรขn Culley talk at day 2 #lma2024! So many important points about imaging to think about

Having a blast at Little Brain Big Brain, I have already learnt so much and am excited to keep the discussions going over the next few days. Thanks for having me Little Brain Big Brain and to the wonderful organisers (Kristen, Ada, Alain, Khalil, Alyce) for such a great meeting so far.
