the fact the skull crawlers are known and capable to mimic voice's is terrifying I believe in one of the comic's a skull crawler mimiced the cries and screams of a girl down a cliff to lure people towards them to eat.

this scene is like the entire way hiccup figure's out how to defeat the red death, I was pretty annoyed it didn't get put in the final version of the film, it's a key part of the story.
