Ron Turcotte, legendary jockey of Secretariat has left us at the age of 84. Among many other things, he provided us with one of the most compelling photographs in sports history, quoted as saying “I had to take a look back and When I turned around, I scared myself.” Rest easy.

I’m proud to work in motorsport. But never wanted to just be the poor man’s Simon Arron 🇪🇺. No disgrace because he was great, but I am lesser. Think of him every time I’m at a track. Missing him and his advice greatly right now. Hopefully see friendly faces at Brands this weekend.

Scunthorpe has been good again. 👌 The sport needs variety and tracks that offer different styles of racing to each other - the circular bumpy raceway with wide bends and proper shale would be a welcome addition on a more regular basis. #BriSCAF1
