After a long audition process, Junior Trumpet Player Hayden Spratlin was offered a spot in Drum Corps International’s The Academy DBC. This is a huge accomplishment for somebody who is still in high school. Hayden will get to travel all over the US over the summer to compete with other groups.

Today is my last day at SMS. Thank you to all of the students, families & staff members that have made my time here so special! I'm blessed with so many memories as a student, teacher & admin in this great building. Today is my last day at SMS, but a Raider I ever SHALL BE!

Our son dressed up as his favorite player, Bobby Witt Jr for Halloween....thought he'd look good stepping up to the plate at the K. Looking forward to next season!
