Thomas Moulding (centre) played for #Blackburn Blackburn Rovers Reserves in 1914 before serving in #WW1. He elected not to play for the local Amateur League team on Good Friday 1914 for religious reasons (like in the film 'Chariots of Fire'). BRFCS @ReadRovers Blackburn Life


Footballer William Williams died in 1926 and is buried in Holy Trinity Church at #Hoghton nr. #Chorley #Lancashire. Wounded on the Somme and in Mesopotamia during #WW1, he played for #Blackburn Blackburn Rovers Reserves, Darwen FC, Everton #Football Club and Blackpool FC after the War.
