Today I heard students saying "that was a cool lesson" as they left US history - I'm so proud of my students for practicing excellent civic discourse and I'm thankful for Mount Vernon for the resources to ground our discourse in historical events Novi Middle School #NoviPride

Way to go, 7th and 8th grade Orchestra musicians! 7th graders did great with their shifting and tackling a D minor key signature! 8th graders used dynamics and accents excellently. Shout out to 7th grader Emma Yu for our program art and 8th grader Claudia Wang as concertmaster.

Hard to believe it’s the final concert season of the year! Way to go, Novi Middle School Bands! What a treat listening to some T-Swift, John Williams, and even some Smash Mouth.

A brilliant NoviMSOrchestra concert filled with Harry Potter, Pixar, Avengers, a song-length record, and even some Classical Indian Music! Felt like we were listening to a DSO concert. Way to go, musicians! Special shout out to the soloists, guest musicians, and program artist.

Today we had the opportunity to celebrate our 8th graders moving on to NHS next year at the Eighth Grade Sendoff! What a fun event and awesome chance for the kids, staff, and parents to enjoy a beautiful day at MS one last time together!
