Last night my good friend Bullsquid playtested a significant portion of Shattered Spectrum for me. He hasn't played The End is Nigh in 6 years. He beat four areas within 3 hours, without struggling too much. Good pace for a TEiN playthrough and a great sign for the mod's balance.

We did more playtesting. Then I did more balancing. Less than I expected. Most areas were completely fine. Today will be spent on fun extras, which I know players will appreciate. (Image related.) We're also finishing up the teaser video, which is very exciting!

14 new blobs and ghosts have been drawn by me and animated by SurrealDude in the past couple of days. I think people will like them.

Final day before The End is Nigh: Shattered Spectrum is out! We've done one more playtesting session with my friend Bullsquid last night and fixed some inconsistent jumps in late-game areas. It's all looking really good!

A couple of hours left before the release of Shattered Spectrum. I'm in the process of pre-writing all the various announcement messages.
