We've lost Nunez, Diaz and Jota this summer. That's three forwards who played 134 games between them last season. We've currently only signed Ekitike. Even if we bring in Isak, it feels like unless we intend to really rely on Ngumoha, we're still one short.

Considering Salah scored 9 from 9 in the PL last season and scored his penalty against PSG in the CL Salah 100% earned the right to keep taking penalties this season. Also Salah probably earns 50% of the penalties.

35m is an absolute steal for a Premier League club captain in the current market. Hopefully he is there to add to Konate/ VVD and not replace Konate.
