the penguins have a number of problems they need to address next season:

•coaching was bad in all aspects, especially the power play

•the bottom six forwards are allergic to scoring

•tristan jarry, who was just signed to be the number one goalie, is not one

•ryan graves

the 2023-24 penguins were a flawed, stupid, & incredibly infuriating team. they didn’t deserve to make the playoffs. however, sidney crosby turned in a masterclass of a season at age 36, & i wish they would’ve gotten in for his sake

i hate the penguins for even putting me in the position of rooting for the flyers & canadiens tonight

the penguins got no help from the canadiens & bruins tonight but they have no one to blame but themselves. they lost so many winnable games earlier in the year that would have nullified this playoff race

i’ve watched his 10x & tried to be as objective as possible. there’s simply no goalie interference here. saros initiates the contact & makes no effort to battle for better position. this is a good goal, plain & simple

if you’re a hockey fan, get to a tv & put on the penguins game. sidney crosby is putting on one of those performances you’ll tell your kids about. he’s 10 steps ahead of every other player on the ice
