Today was a great day for North Mid NHS Trust in our quest to provide outstanding care to local people. Our new 3T MRI provides faster, finer scans in a friendly environment allowing enhanced experience for patients who may be claustrophobic and reduce scan times with better images.

It had to be done. I joined many of the North Mid NHS Trust contingent in Birmingham for #BAUS2024 to celebrate the unique moment when trailblazer Ms Jean McDonald, was awarded the gold medal in urology. First woman recipient and first black female urologist. Remarkable in every way.

It has taken till today to recover from the incredible celebration of North Mid NHS Trust staff. Our #StaffAwards2024 took place Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - the highlight amongst many, was our 85 year-old #VolunteerOfTheYear dancing across the stage with our chief nurse Lenny Byrne Bring on 2025!
