To celebrate #WorldMentalHealthDay, we wanted to remind you: There is no health without mental health. It is okay to not be okay. We are here to help with issues of all forms of bullying. YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Sometimes, the bravest thing you can do is ask for help.

Today, as my two kiddos got vaccinated. My 8yo said “let’s all hold hands, because we got through this together” and that’s about the time I started to cry

Our team recently decided to spend the first 10mins of meetings sending positive emails home. 10/10 recommend. It’s always on my list but I don’t get around to it as much as I’d like, building it into our structured team time was a great solution and means so much to the Ss. 🙌

My opinion: Great teachers know that every student in the class has an invisible IEP. Everyone has different needs. You tailor, design, and adjust for all kids.

"I've been thinking about what I'd like to give you for Christmas. I'd really like to give you something that just fits your own wishes and needs the way these shoes just fit me. I suppose the thing I'd like most to be able to give you is hope. (1/3)

If you have an inordinate number of folks leaving your organization, check the mirror. People stay in organizations that value them, treat them well, and grow them.

My biggest tip for a teacher who is dealing with a challenging student is to figure out a way to like them. In my experience, kids often behave differently around teachers that they perceive as “liking” them.

Teachers! This one is for you, for always finding the strength to give young people hope, even in the most difficult circumstances. Thank you. __ Prélude, Suite No. 1 for Solo Cello by J.S. Bach, #songsofcomfort

Something I have always made sure I remember and practice as an educator by not assigning homework-and by helping my students and families.
