In North Walsham, during the evening of Tues 27 August, PC Barnes and Special Constable Postle carried out speed checks on New Road after residents expressed concerns at the standard of driving in that area. Nobody was found to be speeding at that time.

Following a fire in coastal woodland in Wells-next-the-Sea, officers were called at around 2.50pm yesterday (Thurs 29 Aug) to help the fire service. A man in his 60s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of arson and taken in for questioning. No injuries have been reported.

After warning retailers about fake Scottish bank notes being used in Norfolk, we've arrested two men from Leicestershire on suspicion of fraud. The men, aged in their 20s, were arrested in Aylsham yesterday, after approx. 13 reports of fake notes being used in the last few days.
